You will act as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients, owning the end-to-end commercial journey from initial discovery to long-term strategic partnership. You will translate complex global logistics requirements into clear business value, positioning Flexport as the central nervous system of your clients' supply chains. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to architect tailored solutions that drive measurable efficiency and cost savings. You will leverage data and market insights to anticipate client needs and uncover new expansion opportunities within existing accounts. You will build trusted, consultative relationships that position you as a strategic advisor rather than a transactional vendor. You will rigorously forecast pipeline and manage key milestones to ensure predictable revenue growth against quota. You will champion the Flexport mission by demonstrating how frictionless trade accelerates innovation and growth for every client you serve.

What you'll do
Identify and qualify high-value enterprise opportunities across a diverse portfolio of industries and geographies.
Conduct discovery sessions to map client pain points, map current workflows, and align on quantifiable business objectives.
Develop deep expertise in global logistics flows, enabling you to challenge assumptions and propose innovative supply chain strategies.
Design and deliver tailored solution architectures that integrate Flexport technology with existing client systems and processes.
Lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles that involve navigating executive sponsor relationships and cross-functional decision committees.
Present live demonstrations and value propositions that clearly articulate ROI, risk mitigation, and operational resilience improvements.
Own the full commercial process, including proposal development, negotiation support, and contract finalization activities.
Collaborate with implementation and success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and adoption of Flexport solutions.
Utilize Salesforce to maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecast updates, and comprehensive account intelligence.
Proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing customer bases through roadmap reviews and business reviews.
Establish a disciplined cadence for account reviews to monitor performance, resolve issues, and identify incremental growth initiatives.
Continuously refine your knowledge of trade regulations, tariff structures, and industry trends through structured learning programs.
Build a network of internal subject matter experts to rapidly address technical questions and complex scenario planning.
Maintain a personal pipeline of opportunities that balances early stage exploration with committed revenue targets.
Demonstrate resilience and adaptability when managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed global organization.
Requirements
You must have documented experience owning the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting through to complex deal closure.
You must have a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding assigned sales quotas over a sustained period.
You must be capable of running structured discovery meetings and live product demonstrations that uncover latent client needs.
You must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
You must have strong presentation, negotiation, and value-selling capabilities across multiple stakeholder levels.
You must be a fast learner who thrives in ambiguous environments and can rapidly master new concepts and tools.
You must bring a strong work ethic and an uncompromising drive to become a top 5% sales executive in the European region.
You must have a deep interest in or professional background within logistics, freight forwarding, or complex B2B services.
You must be comfortable managing high-velocity activities, including frequent travel, prospecting, and administrative follow-up.
You must demonstrate integrity and the ability to build long-term trust with clients and internal partners.
You must be comfortable using CRM tools to maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions.
You must be fluent in Dutch and English to engage effectively with local and international stakeholders.
You must be willing to adhere to Flexport policies and compliance standards in all professional activities.
Practical notes
The role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The engagement type is full-time.
This position offers 25 vacation days based on full-time employment.
Commute expenses are covered for home-office commuting costs for employees living outside of Amsterdam.
