About the role
FleetPulse is actively searching for a Go To Market Engineer to manage the commercial technology stack. This specific role is tasked with owning the systems that directly support customer acquisition and long term retention initiatives. The successful candidate will operate in a hands on capacity where they are expected to build new capabilities and optimize the existing revenue engine on a daily basis. You will function as a critical technical operator within the Commercial Operations team, ensuring that all marketing and sales technology works in harmony. This position requires a high level of self motivation and the ability to translate business requirements into stable technical solutions. The work you perform will have a direct impact on the scalability and efficiency of our go to market motion. You are expected to treat the commercial stack as a product of your own making, monitoring its health and iteratively improving its performance.

What you'll do
- Take full ownership of the commercial technology stack, acting as the primary steward for Salesforce, HubSpot, and Clay instances.
- Design, build, and maintain robust integrations that connect various commercial tools, ensuring data flows seamlessly and accurately.
- Develop and sustain complex prospecting workflows that leverage data enrichment, dynamic lead scoring, and automated list building methodologies.
- Configure, customize, and administer Salesforce end to end, including creating custom objects, writing sophisticated flows, authoring SOQL queries, and building reports and dashboards.
- Manage contacts, nurture campaigns, and optimize automated workflows within HubSpot to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
- Author and maintain scripts to automate data processes and system interactions, reducing manual overhead and potential for error.
- Independently diagnose technical issues, build corrective solutions, rigorously test changes, and deploy updates to production environments with confidence.
- Partner with sales and marketing stakeholders to gather requirements and translate ambiguous problems into technical specifications.
- Monitor system performance and data integrity, proactively identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to enhance scalability.
- Document configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and long term maintainability of the stack.
Requirements
- Possess practical, hands on experience configuring and administering Salesforce, demonstrating deep proficiency in building flows, defining custom objects, writing SOQL queries, setting permissions, and authoring reports and dashboards.
- Have a proven track record of integrating different software tools using APIs, Zapier, Make (Integromat), or custom scripts to solve complex business problems.
- Show demonstrated experience building sophisticated prospecting workflows that utilize data enrichment, advanced lead scoring models, and automated list building techniques using Clay or similar data platforms.
- Exhibit administrative proficiency in HubSpot, specifically managing contacts, designing lifecycle stages, orchestrating complex campaigns, and maintaining automated workflows.
- Display functional scripting ability in Python or JavaScript, applying these skills to tasks such as webhook handling, pulling data from APIs, and transforming data structures for downstream use.
- Exhibit the capacity to work entirely independently, taking full ownership of technical problems from initial analysis through final resolution without reliance on a dedicated engineering team.
- Hold a strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and system logic integrity across multiple interconnected tools.
- Thrive in a fast paced environment where priorities can shift and you must adapt quickly while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Nice to have
- Hands on experience with outbound email sequencing platforms such as Lemlist or Instantly, understanding how to optimize deliverability and engagement.
- A history of successfully building a complete GTM stack from scratch in a startup or high growth environment.
- Familiarity with the fleet, logistics, transportation, or industrial SaaS sectors, providing context for specific messaging and use cases.
