About the role
You will lead the strategy and execution for the Fivetran Enterprise Platform, ensuring our data movement infrastructure meets the complex needs of our largest customers. This role focuses on building scalable solutions that prioritize security, governance, and high-performance data integration. You will work closely with engineering and design teams to shape the future of our core platform capabilities. You will act as the primary voice for enterprise customers within the product development lifecycle. The success of this role is measured by your ability to balance long-term platform vision with the immediate needs of high-impact customers. You will be responsible for driving alignment between technical constraints and business objectives. Your work will directly influence how Fivetran supports data democratization and AI readiness at scale.

What you'll do
- Analyze enterprise customer workflows to identify gaps and define platform features that solve complex data movement challenges.
- Architect product requirements that address security, governance, and hybrid deployment models for on-premises and cloud environments.
- Evaluate emerging trends in data infrastructure to guide the strategic direction of the Fivetran Enterprise Platform.
- Partner with engineering leads to translate abstract product concepts into concrete technical specifications.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather detailed requirements for new platform capabilities.
- Define acceptance criteria for platform features to ensure successful implementation and customer adoption.
- Monitor competitor offerings and industry standards to maintain Fivetran's competitive advantage in the data integration space.
- Collaborate with customer success teams to validate product hypotheses and refine go-to-market strategies.
- Develop business cases and ROI analyses to support investment in platform initiatives.
- Oversee the documentation of platform features to ensure clarity for internal and external audiences.
- Facilitate sprint planning and review sessions to ensure alignment between product goals and engineering delivery.
- Drive the collection of product metrics to inform future iterations and improvements.
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on product vision and priorities.

Requirements
- You possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
- You have a minimum of five years of experience in product management or a closely related role.
- You have direct experience managing products within the data infrastructure, data integration, or SaaS platform domains.
- You demonstrate a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, cloud architecture, and components of the modern data stack.
- You have a proven track record of communicating effectively with both technical engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
- You have experience developing and managing products that address security, compliance, and governance challenges.
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift based on customer and business needs.
- You have experience collaborating with distributed teams across different time zones and locations.
- You have a history of making data-driven decisions to guide product strategy and prioritize features.
- You understand the fundamentals of API design and how they impact the developer experience.
- You are familiar with enterprise sales cycles and the factors that influence large-scale technology purchasing decisions.
- You have experience working with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- You are able to obtain necessary security clearances or background checks if required for the role.
