What you'll do
- Architect and maintain scalable web solutions using ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Web API while enforcing strong backend ownership.
- Build responsive, dynamic Single Page Applications by leveraging Angular and React in coordination with backend services.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs that enable seamless integration across microservices and front-end layers.
- Implement microservices and micro-frontend architectures to support modular, independently deployable capabilities.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that adheres to SOLID principles and proven design patterns.
- Bring expertise in AWS cloud stacks and CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
- Perform unit testing and actively support automated testing efforts to improve code quality and coverage.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and remote teams to align on priorities and resolve technical challenges.
- Ensure end-to-end application performance, security, and scalability through monitoring and iterative improvements.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies that enhance the customer experience and developer productivity.
- Partner with product managers to refine requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to incident response and postmortem processes.
- Document system designs, APIs, and processes to ensure clarity and maintainability for the team.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing sessions.
Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Technology Stack, including ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API.
- Demonstrate strong hands-on experience with React and a solid understanding of Angular framework for migration projects.
- Show experience with cloud technologies and concepts, with AWS cloud experience strongly preferred.
- Exhibit proficiency in Single Page Application (SPA) architecture and modern frontend development patterns.
- Apply strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, and jQuery to build interactive user interfaces.
- Leverage deep understanding of Relational Databases, with a preference for MS SQL Server in previous roles.
- Demonstrate a solid grasp of Data Structures, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles in daily engineering work.
- Apply knowledge of multithreading and performance monitoring to build responsive systems.
- Gain experience with Unit Testing frameworks to create reliable and maintainable test suites.
- Show familiarity with Git or similar version control tools to manage source code and collaboration.
- Exhibit strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills across distributed teams.

- Experience with application security tools to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

This role operates in a hybrid work model based in Chennai, India. You will collaborate across time zones and must be flexible to occasional travel when required.
