About the role
The will own the full lifecycle recruitment for critical technology roles across Project Management, Electrical Engineering, and Data Science functions. This position will act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, shaping talent strategies aligned with the company's rapid growth objectives in the Asia Pacific region. The hire will build and maintain strong employer branding initiatives that highlight Firmus' unique mission of combining cutting-edge AI infrastructure with sustainability. They will collaborate closely with founders and engineering leaders to design innovative hiring workflows that reflect the fast-paced, founder-led environment. The partner will leverage data-driven insights to optimize sourcing channels and improve time-to-fill metrics for high-impact positions. This role requires ownership of candidate relationship management, ensuring a consistent and compelling experience from first contact through offer negotiation. The individual will also contribute to building scalable talent pipelines that support both immediate project needs and long-term organizational goals.

What you'll do
- Drive full-cycle recruitment for project management, electrical engineering, and data science positions, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to define hiring needs, success criteria, and growth pathways for critical roles.
- Build and maintain an active talent pipeline through targeted sourcing, networking, and strategic outreach campaigns.
- Design and implement innovative hiring processes that reflect Firmus' fast-paced, founder-led culture and commitment to excellence.
- Act as a subject matter expert on employment market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive positioning in AI infrastructure.
- Lead employer branding initiatives that showcase Firmus' mission, model-to-grid technology approach, and impact on energy grids.
- Coordinate interview schedules, manage candidate communications, and provide timely feedback to stakeholders.
- Utilize data and metrics to continuously improve recruitment efficiency, quality of hire, and candidate experience.
- Collaborate with HR operations to ensure compliance with local employment laws and company policies across Asia Pacific.
- Mentor junior recruiters and contribute to the development of talent acquisition best practices within the organization.
- Support diversity and inclusion efforts by building diverse slates of candidates and promoting equitable hiring practices.
- Engage with external partners, including vendors and industry networks, to enhance Firmus' recruitment capabilities.
- Proactively identify talent gaps and recommend workforce planning insights to leadership based on business evolution.
- Facilitate onboarding activities to ensure smooth transitions for newly hired team members.
- Contribute to the development of job descriptions that accurately reflect role requirements and Firmus' unique value proposition.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of progressive recruitment experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to offer management and onboarding.
- Strong understanding of employment law and regulations within the Australian market.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
- Experience working with AI, cloud computing, or high-tech infrastructure companies is highly valued.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other HR technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, growth-stage environment.
- Commitment to data-driven decision making and continuous process improvement.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required for effective stakeholder communication.
- Willingness to work within Australian time zones and support regional hiring needs as required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining alignment with company goals.
