About the role
Finnomena is currently looking for a Compliance Manager to join their growing team in Pathum Wan, Bangkok. This role carries significant responsibility for ensuring that the organization follows all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies at every level of operation. The Compliance Manager will work closely with various teams across the company to establish and maintain effective compliance practices that support long-term business goals. This is a full-time position that reports directly to senior leadership within Finnomena and plays a key part in shaping the company's governance framework.

What you'll do
- Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements that apply to the organization and its day-to-day operations across all departments
- Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures for internal teams to reference and follow consistently
- Conduct regular audits and detailed reviews to verify adherence to established guidelines and internal control standards
- Coordinate with legal and finance departments on regulatory matters, filings, and cross-functional compliance initiatives
- Prepare thorough reports for management on compliance status, identified risk areas, and recommended improvements
- Train staff members on relevant regulations and internal compliance frameworks to build awareness across the organization
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions to address identified gaps and prevent future occurrences
- Maintain thorough documentation and records for regulatory inspections, audits, and internal review processes
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed for assessments and information requests
- Track changes in legislation and regulatory guidance that may impact current business operations and practices
- Ensure all business processes remain aligned with applicable regulatory frameworks and industry standards
- Support the development of compliance training materials and educational resources for teams at every level
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in compliance, risk management, or a related professional field with a solid track record
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, governance principles, and internal control environments relevant to the industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English at a professional level with clear articulation
- Ability to analyze complex legal and regulatory documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention
- Proven track record of managing audit processes and overseeing remediation efforts from start to completion
- High attention to detail and a consistent commitment to accuracy in all written deliverables and reports
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities at once
- Bachelor degree in law, business, finance, or a related academic discipline from an accredited institution

- Familiarity with financial services or fintech regulatory environments and the specific frameworks that apply to them
- Experience working with international regulatory bodies and managing cross-border compliance matters across different jurisdictions
- Knowledge of data privacy and protection regulations relevant to the financial sector and technology industry

- Prior experience in a fast-growing startup or technology company setting is considered a strong advantage
