About the role
You own the end-to-end strategy and execution of investor engagement within the Fixed Income Investor Network (FIIN), translating market relationships into actionable community initiatives. You build and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with senior investors across structured finance and private credit, ensuring their perspectives directly shape FIIN's task forces and priorities. You act as the primary liaison between the investor community and the FT Live Events team, aligning event programming with real-time market sentiment and emerging themes. You curate and develop investor-led content, including thought leadership, white papers, and targeted webinars, to deliver tangible value to members. You organise and facilitate high-level networking environments, such as investor lunches and closed-door boardroom discussions, that foster collaboration and knowledge sharing. You ensure meticulous record-keeping and governance across all community interactions to preserve institutional knowledge and support continuity. Ultimately, you drive the growth, retention, and active participation of the FIIN community, reinforcing its role as a critical pillar of the fixed income ecosystem.

What you'll do
- Own and manage direct relationships with investors across structured finance and private credit through consistent engagement and strategic outreach.
- Develop and expand the FIIN community by identifying and building connections with investors from underrepresented firm types, geographies, and asset classes.
- Foster meaningful connections among members to strengthen participation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange across the network.
- Gather and synthesise market intelligence from investor conversations to inform FIIN's strategic priorities, task force programming, and content agenda.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for members, developing a deep understanding of their investment focus, strategic priorities, and areas of interest.
- Provide regular structured updates to the FT Live Events team on investor market trends, sentiment, and developments relevant to event strategy and programming.
- Work directly with the FIIN Board to develop, drive, and execute the network's strategic objectives and long-term vision.
- Plan, organise, and host FIIN Board and Executive Committee meetings, ensuring effective preparation, coordination, and follow-through on decisions and actions.
- Lead the delivery of FIIN's member engagement programme, creating regular opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
- Plan and host investor networking events in London and other key global markets to deepen community ties and surface emerging themes.
- Chair monthly FIIN asset-focused task force calls across CLOs, RMBS, Consumer ABS, ESG, Infrastructure, and CRE/CMBS.
- Develop the programming of investor-led elements at FT Live Events conferences, including investor lunches, closed-door boardroom discussions, and the Fixed Income Investor Forum.
- Create approximately five webinars per year offering investor insights to be shared with the FIIN membership and broader community.
- Develop relevant investor and market content for distribution to the FIIN community, including thought leadership pieces, white papers, and member updates.
- Support FIIN's membership recruitment and retention efforts by identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with prospective member firms.
- Help ensure members derive ongoing value from participation in the network, supporting long-term engagement and retention through tailored outreach and insights.
- Maintain clear, accurate records of key relationships and interactions to support continuity, institutional knowledge, and long-term community development.
- Work collaboratively with the wider FIIN team to ensure communications, programming, and initiatives reflect genuine member priorities and evolving market needs.
