Staff Product Engineer, AI
Job description
About the role
Fin is seeking experienced engineers to join our AI Group and advance our customer agent technology. You will collaborate with machine learning scientists and product teams to translate research into functional, production-ready features for our global user base. In this capacity, you will own the design and execution of systems that bridge the gap between innovative AI research and reliable, user-facing functionality. The role requires you to build and maintain the foundational infrastructure that powers our primary AI products using Python and Ruby on Rails. You will be responsible for transitioning experimental proof-of-concept code into scalable, reliable production environments that meet strict operational standards. Furthermore, you will coordinate with cross-functional product teams to define and refine AI-driven user experiences, ensuring technical feasibility and product excellence. You will mentor team members and contribute to hiring and professional development initiatives, fostering a culture of technical excellence. Finally, you will establish high technical standards for performance and operational reliability across the organization, ensuring our systems are robust and efficient.
