People Coordinator (SP)
Job description
About the role
The People Coordinator role at Figure in São Paulo is centered on the administration and compliance of employee lifecycle processes. This position requires a detailed understanding of Brazilian labor regulations, specifically the Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho (CLT). You will be responsible for the accurate and confidential administration of routine People operations. These include managing the full employee journey from admissão (admission) through to desligamentos (terminations). The role demands discretion when handling sensitive payroll and personal data. You will act as a primary contact for both employees and managers, ensuring that policies are applied fairly and consistently. Success in this role is defined by reliability in executing structured processes within a fast-scaling environment.
What you'll do
You will own the end-to-end administration of the employee lifecycle in strict compliance with CLT and the external provider's requirements. This involves managing the complete admissão process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time. You will be responsible for administering the ponto system, processing schedule changes, and supporting managers with attendance-related inquiries. The role requires managing férias requests, tracking statutory entitlements, and coordinating approvals to ensure compliance. You will also handle desligamentos, preparing the necessary documentation and coordinating all steps for a compliant and respectful exit.
Maintaining accurate employee records in the HRIS is a core function, including updating personal, contractual, and benefit information. You will support the administration of employee benefits, specifically Vale-transporte and Vale-refeição, by managing registrations and confirming usage. The role serves as the primary policy and procedure contact for day-to-day employee questions, providing clear and consistent guidance. You will assist in onboarding new hires to ensure a smooth and compliant start at Figure. Additional responsibilities include supporting engagement and internal communications initiatives to maintain an informed team. Collaboration with the global People team and local leadership is essential to ensure policy alignment. You will utilize HRIS tools to perform administrative tasks, generate reports, and verify data integrity.
