Field Application Engineer
Job description
About the role
serves as the primary technical interface between our autonomous robotic systems and customer operations in demanding environments. The role owner drives successful deployment and adoption of quadruped and rover platforms across construction, security, mining, and manufacturing use cases. You will translate complex robotic capabilities into practical field solutions while maintaining rigorous standards for system performance and safety compliance. This position requires independent judgment to troubleshoot emergent issues and make timely decisions in dynamic, on-site conditions. You will own the end-to-end customer technical experience from initial deployment planning through long-term operational support. The role demands close collaboration with internal engineering and field operations to close the loop between real-world feedback and product development. Field Application Engineers are expected to champion best practices for implementation and document insights that shape future system improvements. Success in this role is defined by your ability to build trusted partnerships with customers and deliver measurable operational impact through robotic autonomy.
