What you'll do
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for assigned customer accounts, providing expert support throughout the entire system lifecycle from initial deployment through sustained operational use.
- Lead the development and execution of customer-specific deployment strategies, including detailed setup procedures, performance validation protocols, and continuous post-launch support mechanisms.
- Design and construct comprehensive deployment plans that outline project schedules, operational workflows, and precise technical implementation blueprints for field execution.
- Orchestrate collaboration across engineering, operations, and customer success teams to align objectives, resolve dependencies, and guarantee cohesive project execution.
- Oversee the installation, calibration, and configuration of advanced robotic systems directly within customer facilities and diverse field environments.
- Diagnose and resolve sophisticated technical issues pertaining to hardware integrity, software logic, autonomous decision-making, network connectivity, and complex system integration in live production scenarios.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data from deployed systems to generate actionable insights that inform both immediate risk mitigation and long-term engineering improvements.
- Juggle multiple concurrent customer projects, effectively prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring that all critical deadlines and technical deliverables are met.
- Conduct formal technical reviews and system readiness assessments, preparing and delivering clear status presentations to multidisciplinary stakeholders and executive audiences.
- Translate highly technical system capabilities and limitations into practical, jargon-free operational guidance that non-technical stakeholders can readily implement.
- Maintain meticulous records of technical findings, deployment results, system anomalies, and direct customer feedback to drive iterative product evolution and refinement.
- Identify opportunities to streamline deployment methodologies, enhance customer satisfaction, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate product adoption rates through systematic analysis.
- Provide hands-on support during critical product demonstrations, complex field trials, and high-stakes customer engagements where technical proficiency is paramount.
- Develop deep expertise in the specific use cases of each client, ensuring that robotic system configurations are optimized for their unique operational constraints and goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering strategic recommendations on technology adoption and workflow integration based on real-world field performance data.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical discipline that provides a strong foundation in autonomous systems.
- Demonstrate robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to deconstruct complex technical challenges and formulate effective solutions under pressure.
- Bring practical, hands-on experience with robotic platforms, autonomous navigation systems, drones, quadrupeds, humanoids, or similar advanced automated technologies.
- Show comprehensive familiarity with a wide range of sensors, electronic components, embedded systems, networking protocols, and core robotic hardware elements.
- Exhibit strong programming and scripting proficiency in languages such as Python or C++, with the ability to read, modify, and debug code relevant to system integration.
- Possess the independence necessary to assess intricate technical difficulties and devise pragmatic, effective solutions in unpredictable and rapidly evolving field conditions.
- Maintain exceptional technical communication skills, enabling clear and effective dialogue with both highly technical engineering personnel and business stakeholders without technical backgrounds.
- Capability to rapidly interpret field-collected data, diagnose underlying issues, and deliver concrete, actionable recommendations to engineering and product development teams.
- Have prior professional experience serving as a primary customer-facing technical contact, handling inquiries, escalations, and on-site support requirements.
- Demonstrate the ability to independently manage the full lifecycle of deployment projects, including detailed planning, timeline management, technical specification adherence, and proactive stakeholder expectation management.
- Hold solid project management skills, encompassing detailed planning, task prioritization, proactive risk assessment, systematic issue resolution, and disciplined execution.
- Show proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, aligning diverse technical expertise to achieve complex shared objectives in demanding environments.
- Exercise sound independent judgment when resolving technical, operational, and customer-facing challenges where established procedures may not exist.
- Skill in balancing competing customer demands, known technical limitations of systems, and overarching business objectives within dynamic and often high-pressure settings.
- Maintain strong written and verbal communication abilities, including the confidence to present to customers, provide concise project updates, and author detailed technical documentation and reports.
