What you'll do
- Assist project managers in the planning and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting minutes, to facilitate effective communication among team members.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and assist in identifying any potential issues that may arise during construction.
- Support the preparation of project proposals and bids, including gathering relevant data and assisting in the development of cost estimates.
- Utilize project management software to track project milestones, budgets, and resource allocation, providing updates to project managers as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders, showcasing project progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in project meetings, providing input and feedback on project status and potential improvements.
- Help maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a project support role within the civil engineering or construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or similar applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
