The is responsible for owning strategic security outcomes for designated customers. This position requires shaping daily engagements and fostering long-term trust within a structured workflow. Stakeholders rely on consistent, high-quality advice that converts complex security risks into actionable plans that are clear and implementable. The role demands a proactive stance in guiding implementation of appropriate controls to enhance observability and strengthen incident readiness at the network edge. You will forge partner programs that effectively connect security teams with product, engineering, and CSOC workflows to ensure seamless collaboration. A critical function involves designing and delivering coaching modules to upskill internal staff on current threats and secure configuration standards across the organization. You will champion automation initiatives that transform manual checks into repeatable, auditable security controls that scale efficiently. The position also involves chartering workshops where both executives and engineers explore threat models, response playbooks, and mitigation strategies in a collaborative forum. Finally, you will champion customer feedback to drive continuous improvement of internal tools, playbooks, and success metrics to refine the security posture. This includes mentoring junior staff through structured practice and the sharing of documented artifacts to build a robust security culture.

What you'll do

Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles in relevant backgrounds such as Technical Account Management, Sales Engineering, Support, or Professional Services.
- Bring experience particularly within cloud, CDN, or application security settings to understand the unique challenges of distributed systems.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in application and web security including hands-on knowledge of WAFs, bot mitigation strategies, DDoS defense mechanisms, the OWASP Top 10, and API protection protocols.
- Show a solid understanding of internet fundamentals covering HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS, BGP, and contemporary application architectures that drive modern businesses.
- Exhibit a proven ability to transition from reactive support to proactive security guidance that shapes customer strategies.
- Deliver measurable improvements in customer security posture and long-term business outcomes through proactive engagement and planning.
- Engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders with clarity, empathy, and precision to ensure messages resonate across audiences.
- Proficiency in scripting using Python or Go is required to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy for security metrics.

- Compensation includes a base salary of $132,500.00 with an expected total compensation of $180,000.00 for 2026.
