About the role

What you'll do
- Provide strategic coaching and expert guidance to leadership teams on matters related to organizational design, talent management, and employee relations, ensuring alignment with company goals.

- Work closely with the broader People team to refine, implement, and uphold global HR policies and processes that enhance operational efficiency.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives aimed at enhancing leadership capabilities and employee engagement across the organization.
- Lead efforts to cultivate a diverse and inclusive workplace, ensuring that all employees feel valued and supported.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of people initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, providing insights and recommendations on talent management strategies and organizational effectiveness.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR to ensure Fastly remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
- Foster strong relationships with employees at all levels to promote a culture of open communication and feedback.

Requirements
- Significant experience in a senior HR business partner or people partner role within a global technology organization, demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry.
- Proven capability to influence and engage with executive leadership while navigating complex organizational structures effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations relevant to the various regions where Fastly operates, ensuring adherence to legal standards.
- Experience in managing large-scale organizational transformations and overseeing performance management cycles, demonstrating a strategic approach to HR challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse teams and cultures.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in interpreting HR metrics and using data to drive decision-making processes.
