About the role
You will own the end to end delivery of high impact programmes for UK Government and international partners as a Senior Manager within the Public Services team. This role requires you to manage complex transformation initiatives that leverage human-centric AI to drive measurable outcomes for public sector organisations. You will be responsible for developing strategic proposals that expand our portfolio in the public sector and ensuring their successful execution. The position demands deep engagement with some of the most AI literate customers in the UK, requiring you to translate ambitious concepts into trusted, deployed solutions. You will form strategic relationships with senior government stakeholders while providing thought leadership on the role of AI in core public services. Ultimately, you will be accountable for turning experimental technology into reliable products that address critical government challenges.

What you'll do
- Managing the delivery of multiple, complex programmes of work for our Public Services clients including strategy, R&D, and product builds.
- Overseeing a portfolio of projects across multiple facets of the Public Services including the Home Office, Department for Education and others.
- Developing and owning compelling proposals to grow our Public Sector portfolio.
- Mentoring and developing team members, aligning their responsibilities with the critically important Public Services work for which we're responsible.
- Working strategically to deliver meaningful outcomes for public sector organisations rather than just focusing on outputs.
- Forming strong, trusted relationships with senior government customers and collaborating closely with other consulting partners where needed.
- Advising clients on AI strategy and technical implementation, engaging confidently in technical discussions with directors.
- Supporting wider business efforts as a Senior Manager to ensure maximum strategic flexibility and commercial impact.
- Leading scoping and discovery sessions to define problem spaces and solution boundaries for public sector initiatives.
- Translating ambiguous government requirements into structured project plans and delivery roadmaps.
- Ensuring all project activities adhere to governance, security, and compliance standards relevant to public sector work.
- Driving the delivery timeline from initial concept through to implementation and value realisation for government clients.
- Coordinating cross functional resources to maintain momentum and manage dependencies across workstreams.
- Capturing lessons learned and best practices to enhance future programme delivery for public services.
Requirements
- You are an experienced Senior Manager with a strong background in managing complex, large-scale transformation programs.
- You bring proven experience in Public Services space, possibly from your time in Government, academia, or roles in industry.
- You have a track record of shipping GDS-style digital products and knowing exactly what it takes to get AI-enabled services over the line in Government.
- You have a demonstrable interest and understanding of AI and ML concepts and can think creatively about their application for a range of Public Sector challenges.
- You possess the technical nous to engage confidently with directors on engineering concepts and AI applications.
- You understand the commercial consulting delivery model, allowing you to focus immediately on account growth and project oversight.
- You possess the flexibility to support broader Senior Manager work and embrace an entrepreneurial approach to a highly visible portfolio.
- You thrive in ambiguous settings and demonstrate a structured approach to problem-solving and delivering high-quality, high-stakes projects.
- You are eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) and willing to work on site with government clients as required.
- You are able to work full time from the London location and commit to the delivery schedule required for public sector programmes.

London. There are no specific working hour commitments outlined beyond the standard full time expectations for Faculty roles. Travel may be required to work on site with government clients as necessary, and you must be willing to undergo UK Security Clearance checks for eligibility. There are no visa sponsorship arrangements available for this position at this time.
