This role will drive revenue growth and expansion by developing data-informed strategies. You will analyze complex business challenges and translate them into actionable recommendations that impact the company's financial performance. The position requires ownership of ambiguous business problems where standard answers do not exist. You will be responsible for discovering and implementing novel strategies to increase revenue and improve customer acquisition across the entire sales funnel. Success in this position depends on your ability to enhance quantitative analysis methods, including simulations, A/B tests, and causal impact studies. You will communicate strategic direction to various audiences, including executive leadership, using clear and compelling narratives. The role involves maintaining and improving data pipelines, defining data structures, and employing advanced tracking to identify revenue opportunities. You will mentor and develop junior team members in analytical thinking and best practices to elevate the entire Revenue Analytics team.

What you'll do
- Guide cross-functional teams to tackle unclear questions, influencing and implementing revenue-boosting initiatives that align with strategic priorities.
- Discover and implement novel strategies to increase revenue and improve customer acquisition across the entire sales funnel using data-driven experimentation.
- Enhance quantitative analysis methods, including simulations, A/B tests, and causal impact studies, to effectively communicate strategic direction to various audiences, including leadership.
- Maintain and improve data pipelines, define data structures, and employ advanced tracking to identify revenue opportunities and mitigate risk.
- Mentor and develop junior team members in analytical thinking and best practices to build a high-performing analytics culture.
- Explore and integrate artificial intelligence into the Revenue Analytics workflow to improve team output and efficiency on repetitive tasks.
- Translate complex business metrics into actionable insights that drive decision-making and optimize revenue performance.
- Partner with stakeholders to define key performance indicators and establish measurement frameworks for ongoing optimization.
- Design experiments to test hypotheses around pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies that directly impact the bottom line.
- Leverage statistical modeling to uncover trends and patterns that support long-term revenue growth initiatives.
- Document methodologies and analytical frameworks to ensure reproducibility and knowledge transfer across the organization.
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to embed data insights into operational workflows and customer interactions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives using rigorous impact evaluation techniques.
- Champion a culture of data literacy by enabling teams to interpret results and make informed decisions independently.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in data science or consulting, with a focus on solving ambiguous business problems through data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to diverse audiences in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, A/B testing frameworks, and Github is essential for success in this position.
- Familiarity with and enthusiasm for new AI tools like Claude and Gemini, and a desire to apply them to daily tasks to improve productivity.
- Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to prioritizing the best interests of the business as a whole when making analytical decisions.
- A collaborative, humble, and empathetic approach to teamwork that fosters trust and psychological safety among peers.
- An advanced degree in a quantitative field such as data science, analytics, economics, or statistics is required for this role.
- Must reside within the continental United States due to compensation structure and operational requirements.
