Product Manager, UX
Job description
About the role
This role owns the end-to-end user journey for AI interactions across Everpure products. You are responsible for defining the complete experience of product users as they engage with AI capabilities, ensuring consistency and coherence at every touchpoint. The position shapes guardrails and oversight mechanisms that balance agent autonomy with necessary control to maintain system integrity. You will drive the integration of siloed functionalities into a unified enterprise platform, requiring horizontal cooperation across organizational boundaries. Frameworks for measuring quality are established to drive ongoing improvements in agent behavior and system dependability. Design decisions are evaluated based on outcomes such as usability, conversion, and customer satisfaction within this context. Most design teams maintain a living design system to keep products consistent, and you will contribute to this evolving standard.

Define consistent and reliable agent interactions that emerge across all user touchpoints, delivering a cohesive experience for product users.
Design end-to-end guardrails and oversight mechanisms that balance autonomy with control to ensure safe and effective AI operations.
Integrate siloed functionalities into a unified enterprise platform through horizontal cooperation across organizational boundaries.
Establish frameworks for measuring quality that drive ongoing improvements in agent behavior and system dependability.
Evaluate complex, multi-product architectures to synthesize disparate CLI, API, UI, and MCP interfaces into a unified product model that cross-functional teams can adopt.
Prototype agent workflows and AI capabilities to demonstrate hands-on AI and technical proficiency during the design process.
Utilize data tools such as SQL, Git, modern prototyping tools, and analysis methods to test hypotheses and guide product decisions.
Build consensus and navigate dependencies across engineering, design, and product organizations without relying on direct authority.

Requirements
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required as a baseline for this role. Complex, multi-product architectures are evaluated to synthesize disparate CLI, API, UI, and MCP interfaces into a unified product model that cross-functional teams can adopt. Prototyping agent workflows and AI capabilities demonstrates hands-on AI and technical proficiency. Data tools such as SQL, Git, modern prototyping tools, and analysis methods test hypotheses and guide product decisions. Consensus building and navigation of dependencies across engineering, design, and product organizations are accomplished without relying on direct authority. Enterprise security, auditability, and operational guardrails are transformed into concrete product capabilities through a customer and trust-centric approach. Strong communication skills are essential for articulating design rationale and influencing stakeholders. Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced environments is necessary to thrive in this role.
Practical notes
Typical interview steps
Design interviews usually include a portfolio review, a design exercise, and a team conversation. Candidates present past work and explain their process and decisions. Some loops include a live design challenge. Communication matters as much as the visual output. Portfolios are strongest when they show the problem, the constraints, and the iteration, not just the final screens. Interviewers also watch how you take feedback.
Good to know
Critical thinking and innovation solve technical challenges in data storage and AI product environments. Collaboration across diverse teams supports shared objectives and continuous learning. Modern prototyping tools and data analysis methods steer product decisions and strategy. Continuous evaluation practices drive product reliability and agent performance in fast-moving technology landscapes.
Questions to ask
Useful questions for the interview: what a typical week looks like, how work is assigned, what tools the team uses, and how feedback works. Asking how the role has changed recently and what the team wishes it had known when joining is also reasonable. Questions about the manager's priorities are especially valued.
Career growth
Design careers grow from junior to senior, staff, and principal levels. Some designers move into design management or design operations. Specializations include UX research, interaction design, and brand design. Cross-functional influence grows with seniority. Senior designers are expected to influence product strategy, not just execute visuals. Building a habit of user research strengthens any design career.
