About the role
In this HR Ops Intern role at Eqbank, you will provide administrative and operational support to the HR team on a daily basis. You will assist with employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding processes. The position requires you to support HR systems administration, payroll, and benefits related queries. You will respond to employee and manager inquiries in a timely and professional manner. On the team you will monitor and manage requests that come through the HR shared mailbox. You will support data audits and reporting initiatives to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will maintain employee records and HR documentation in an organized and secure way. Prepare and maintain onboarding and offboarding checklists and tracking tools to streamline workflows. You will support payroll reporting, audits, and data validation activities as required. You will support HR projects, research, coordination, and general administrative assistance as needed. You will prepare reports, trackers, and HR metrics to provide insights to stakeholders. You will participate in team meetings, training sessions, and learning opportunities to grow your skills.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

- You need the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
- You need proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
