We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Executive to lead new business acquisition efforts within our mid-market and commercial sectors. This position is based in New York City and operates in a hybrid work environment, with a combination of in-office and remote work arrangements. The role reports directly to the Global Vice President of Sales and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing startup at the forefront of AI-driven customer insights.
As a key member of our sales team, you will have the chance to contribute directly to the company's revenue growth and market expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who has progressed from a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to an Account Executive (AE) role, with a proven track record of managing full sales cycles in a SaaS environment. You will be responsible for engaging prospective clients, understanding their needs, demonstrating the value of our platform, and closing deals. What you'll do
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals with mid-market and commercial clients, ensuring a high level of engagement and professionalism throughout.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by proactively identifying new opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts, including cold outreach, email campaigns, and networking, as well as responding to inbound inquiries generated by marketing efforts.
- Conduct discovery calls and meetings using Challenger sales techniques to uncover client pain points, challenge existing assumptions, and reframe problems to create a sense of urgency.
- Present Enterpret's Customer Intelligence platform to prospective clients, demonstrating its value and relevance to their specific needs, using Force Management's value selling framework to articulate ROI and competitive differentiation.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales development teams to refine messaging, improve outreach strategies, and increase lead conversion rates.
- Work closely with pre-sales engineers and technical teams to tailor product demonstrations and proofs of concept that align with client requirements.
- Partner with customer success and onboarding teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation, fostering long-term relationships and upsell opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts, pipeline management, and activity tracking within Salesforce (SFDC). Use Gong and Outreach to analyze sales calls, improve messaging, and optimize outreach strategies.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients, ensuring alignment with company policies and revenue targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging customer needs to position Enterpret effectively in the market.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas, contributing to the overall growth targets of the organization.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions to continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on customer interactions to help shape future product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Represent Enterpret at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate new leads.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of SaaS sales experience, with a focus on mid-market and commercial accounts, ideally having progressed from SDR to AE roles within startups or scaling companies.
- Demonstrated success in managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to closing and post-sale follow-up.
- Proven ability to generate new business through outbound prospecting and inbound lead management.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling, Challenger sales methodology, and value-based selling frameworks such as Force Management.
- Experience working with complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales engagement tools, specifically Salesforce (SFDC), Gong, and Outreach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and discovery skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different personas and organizational levels.
- Results-oriented with a strong motivation for personal growth, learning, and achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to learn about AI technologies and the technical aspects of the platform to effectively demonstrate its value to clients.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Practical notes
- This is an on-site role based in New York City, operating within a hybrid work model that combines in-office presence with remote work flexibility.
- The compensation range for this position is $210,000 to $260,000, including equity options, with a 50/50 split.
