What you'll do

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components for various engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Oversee the testing and validation of mechanical designs, analyzing performance data to make informed decisions for improvements.
• Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, design reports, and test plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD) for designing and modeling mechanical components.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of analyzing complex engineering challenges and developing effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the engineering industry.

Nice to have

• Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or energy sectors, providing a diverse perspective on mechanical engineering applications.
• Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools for advanced simulations.
• Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) or similar professional designation.
