What you'll do

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and civil engineers, to create integrated solutions that enhance project outcomes.
• Conduct thorough analysis and simulations to validate electrical designs, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring that all electrical engineering tasks are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
• Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers, providing them with the necessary support and resources to grow in their roles.
• Review and approve technical documentation, including design specifications, calculations, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Participate in client meetings to present design concepts and provide technical expertise, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

• Prepare and deliver presentations on electrical engineering concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies, identifying areas for efficiency gains and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and project management.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects from conception to completion.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, including NEC and IEEE.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience in renewable energy projects or smart grid technologies.
• Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
