What you'll do

• Develop detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive design documents.
• Revise and update existing drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders, ensuring that all changes are accurately reflected.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to design processes, including design calculations, specifications, and reports.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in drafting, design technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a design drafting role, preferably within the engineering or architectural sectors.
• Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles, along with familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address design challenges.
