Ecommerce Manager
Job description
About the role
This position grants ownership of the complete customer journey for a major market. You will guide plans from the initial point of contact through delivery and into ongoing support. Success requires collaboration across many functions to convert ideas into concrete steps that advance the business. The role involves challenging existing habits, testing multiple options, and adjusting routes to ensure the store remains relevant to customers and the brand. You will act as the central coordinator who ensures all activities align with overarching goals. The position is based in Manila and operates on a permanent, full-time basis. The compensation package is 45,000 USD per year.
What you'll do
You will design intake routines that capture demand signals and translate them into clear briefs for the store team. Building merchandising structures and content flows is essential to guide visitors toward confident purchase decisions. You will review performance data to identify patterns that explain what is working and what requires modification. Optimizing campaigns and page updates will be part of your responsibility, including coordinating timing so offers reach customers at the ideal moment. Partnership with logistics and support teams is necessary to smooth handoffs and remove obstacles in the buying journey. You will establish testing roadmaps that compare options, measure outcomes, and feed insights back into future plans. Upholding and championing standards is vital to keep visuals, language, and processes aligned with the Emma brand promise. Enabling rapid responses to market shifts is required, allowing you to adjust tactics, timelines, and priorities without losing focus on the core mission. You will own the end-to-end management of key campaigns and initiatives within the ecommerce channel. Maintaining a sharp focus on conversion rate optimization will be a continuous part of your daily responsibilities. You will work closely with creative and product teams to ensure that local market nuances are reflected in campaigns and content. Forecasting demand and aligning operational plans with commercial goals will help the business meet its targets reliably.
Requirements
Three years of hands-on experience managing online retail in a fast-moving environment is mandatory. Fluency in English is required for writing, presenting ideas, and coordinating with global partners. You must understand how to use data, metrics, and reports to guide decisions and track results. Demonstrating comfort with owning end-to-end responsibilities and seeing projects through to completion is essential. A strong sense of ownership is required to drive initiatives forward without needing constant direction. You must be comfortable working within structured processes while still finding ways to improve efficiency. The ability to manage multiple priorities at once while maintaining attention to detail is non-negotiable. You should be prepared to adhere to company policies, guidelines, and compliance standards at all times.
Nice to have
Previous experience in ecommerce, retail, or a customer-facing role that values experimentation is considered a plus.
