About the role
You will build trusted relationships with leaders across the business teams to ensure people strategies directly support business objectives. You will develop a deep understanding of Emburse's strategic business plan, operating model, and leadership strengths to translate these insights into actionable people plans. In this role, you will partner with the HR Centers of Excellence to drive value in compensation, benefits, learning and development, and talent acquisitions. You will analyze workforce data and business insights to identify trends and anticipate future talent needs for leadership consideration. The position requires you to activate annual business processes including performance reviews, compensation reviews, and promotion assessments. You will represent the needs of functional teams in the design and architecture of company-wide people programs. This role focuses on an AI-forward HR business strategy to scale and optimize operations. You will serve as a trusted advisor providing unbiased feedback to maximize the performance of our people and the business.

What you'll do
Partner with executive team members to provide guidance on organizational designs and talent planning.
Translate business priorities into practical people plans that support growth, productivity, and organizational health.
Analyze workforce data and business insights to identify trends and anticipate talent needs.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence including compensation, benefits, learning and development, and HR operations.
Drive organization design by managing role clarity, spans and layers, and team effectiveness.
Activate annual business processes including year-end performance reviews, annual compensation reviews, and promotion review and assessment.
Utilize qualitative and quantitate information to diagnose issues and recommend practical solutions.
Represent the needs of functional teams in the design and architecture of company-wide people programs.
Focus on an AI-forward HR business strategy to identify opportunities to scale and optimize the business.
Provide unbiased and direct feedback to support leaders in maximizing the performance of our people and the business.
Become a strategic partner translating business priorities into effective people strategies.
Manage competing priorities while prioritizing work that drives business value and employee engagement.
Communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization.
Support leadership development and change management initiatives across the enterprise.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required for this position.
Six to eight years of progressive HR experience including meaningful experience as an HR Business Partner is mandatory.
Experience supporting multiple functions in a SaaS, technology, or consulting related company with high growth expectations is essential.
Prior experience working for a Private Equity-backed company is preferred as a key criterion.
Experience utilizing AI to enhance productivity and automate day-to-day work in HR is a necessary qualification.
Experience driving organization design, workforce management, talent management, and performance management actions is required.
Ability to use qualitative and quantitate information to diagnose issues and recommend practical solutions is mandatory.
Business and financial acumen with an understanding of financial metrics and how they relate to a business is essential.
Ability to manage competing priorities and prioritize work that matters is a hard requirement.
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing and email is non-negotiable.
Nice to have
Experience in a high-growth technology environment is preferred.
Understanding of AI tools and their application in HR processes is a preferred attribute.
Practical notes
This role operates on a Hybrid schedule requiring 3 days per week onsite in Addison, Texas.
The position reports directly to the Chief HR Officer.
Candidates must be able to start within the next 4 weeks.
