Engagement Lead, Future Platforms
Job description
About the role
You will own the end-to-end delivery of the accounting layer for complex client engagements on the Future Platforms team at EliseAI. This role requires you to found and scale a critical function that bridges accounting, product, and customer success to ensure seamless implementation and adoption. You will work directly with Controllers, CFOs, and accounting teams to scope workflows, configure systems, and drive key strategic decisions from initial deployment through full operational stability. Because the platform is evolving quickly, you will not only execute implementations but also help define the methodologies and playbooks that make them scalable. This is a highly cross-functional, execution-heavy role ideal for someone who combines strong accounting intuition with a builder mindset and operates like a founder in a fast-scaling environment. You will be responsible for driving multiple concurrent engagements to successful completion while ensuring data integrity, operational readiness, and long-term client success on the platform.

- Partner with senior accounting stakeholders such as Controllers and CFOs to lead discovery, scoping, and critical implementation decisions.
- Translate ambiguous accounting needs into clear system configurations and requirements, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Lead hands-on configuration of the accounting layer, including chart of accounts setup, vendor and entity setup, and transaction mapping.
- Manage detailed back-and-forth with clients to gather, validate, and refine all data inputs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Validate GL structures, identify inconsistencies, and resolve gaps in client-provided materials to maintain data integrity.
- Ensure full readiness for data migration and system cutover, overseeing a clean and accurate transition into the platform.
- Lead post-launch activities such as reconciliations, validation of financial data, and stabilization of accounting workflows.
- Kickstart close processes and operational rhythms to ensure ongoing success within the new system.
- Run trainings, walkthroughs, and tailored demos for accounting teams to enable adoption and build user confidence.
- Identify and resolve adoption blockers early to minimize disruption and maximize platform utilization.
- Turn implementation experiences into scalable systems and playbooks that can be reused across clients and teams.
- Serve as the primary owner of the accounting engagement, coordinating cross-functional inputs and decisions.
- Build and refine end-to-end processes that reduce manual work and improve the experience for clients and operators.
- Ensure that all accounting workflows are aligned with the broader goals of the platform and the EliseAI mission.
