About the role
You will architect and run the technical workflows that power our housing AI agents end to end. You translate ambiguous business problems into precise system behaviors by analyzing configuration data, logs, and SQL outputs. You own the bridge between product intent and live execution, ensuring every AI interaction aligns with client operations and compliance rules. You diagnose production incidents with urgency and document every finding so the team can iterate without you. You mentor non-technical stakeholders on how to configure and safely adjust their AI Assistant settings. You proactively identify patterns across incidents and drive improvements that prevent repeat issues. You communicate with crisp, professional clarity under time pressure. You prioritize work based on business impact while maintaining traceability from data to user experience.
Key facts
What you'll do
Investigate customer issues by writing and analyzing SQL queries against production logs and configuration stores.
Map end to end flows for onboarding clients, tracking how preferences are translated into system settings and how integrations connect to email, calendar, and CRM tools.
Diagnose how client business processes operate and how disruptions in AI behavior affect their operations.
Communicate with clients in a clear, professional manner to gather reproduction steps and assess business impact.
Prioritize response and resolution activities based on the severity of issues to client operations.
Document bugs with precise descriptions, reproduction steps, business impact, and links to relevant configuration artifacts.
Write highly effective ticket summaries that enable other teams to understand, triage, and fix issues quickly.
Advise clients on best practices for configuring and interacting with their AI Assistant to reduce future risk.
Verify fixes with clients, confirm resolution, and broadcast updates to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and support teams to turn recurring issues into durable improvements.
Use data to drive decisions, forming hypotheses, testing them against logs, and refining approaches based on evidence.
Maintain a bias toward action by breaking down complex problems into small, verifiable steps.
Continuously expand your knowledge of integrations, configurations, and edge cases to serve clients more effectively.
Own the full lifecycle of issue resolution from initial report through final confirmation and documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
1-3 years of experience in similar role or field.
Experience with support software and CRMs (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce) is a plus.
Demonstrated technical proficiency such as a computer science degree, bootcamp certificate, or previous work experience.
Bias towards data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.
Willingness to work in person at our office 5 days a week.
Nice to have
Computer Science degree, bootcamp certificate, or equivalent.
Experience building projects using low code / no code tools such as Retool.
Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel.
Familiarity with DataDog or other similar event-logging software.
Familiarity with Postman or other API testing tools.
Familiarity with Reporting tools such as Tableau.
Experience writing SQL queries.
Practical notes
This role requires in person presence at our New York City office five days per week.
