About the role

You will own the delivery of high-quality social work services within the Early Intervention program, directly impacting the lives of very young children and their families. This role requires you to conduct thorough developmental screenings and assessments using standardized tools to identify needs accurately. You will design and track progress on treatment goals embedded within an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) in natural home environments. You will provide compassionate interventions centered on psychosocial development, family systems, and connecting families to essential community resources. Collaboration is a core function, as you will work closely with families, physicians, and other agencies to maintain a cohesive, team-based approach. You will deliver transdisciplinary services that integrate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team to support the child's development. What you'll do

Perform comprehensive developmental screenings for infants and toddlers using validated standardized assessment tools.

Deliver community-based therapeutic interventions through a family coaching model in home and center settings.

Develop, implement, and meticulously track progress on goals outlined in the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).

Provide direct psychosocial development interventions that address the emotional and social needs of young children.

Conduct thorough assessments of family systems to identify strengths, risks, and opportunities for growth.

Coordinate complex services and supports by collaborating with physicians, specialists, and community agencies.

Identify and connect families with vital community resources to promote stability and well-being.

Offer consultation and guidance to families regarding clinical and developmental concerns or challenges.

Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential records of all screenings, assessments, and service activities.

Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and cultural humility in every interaction.

Contribute actively to a multidisciplinary team approach to ensure cohesive and holistic service delivery.

Support the implementation of best practices in early childhood mental health and intervention strategies.

Assist in the oversight of service plans to ensure they remain effective, timely, and aligned with family goals.

Advocate for the needs of children and families within the system to ensure access to appropriate resources.

Requirements

Must hold a current Master's degree in Social Work or a closely related professional field.

Current Clinical Licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW) is required for this position.

LICSW or LMHC certification is strongly preferred and will be considered an advantage.

Must have documented experience working with young children aged 0-5 years with behavioral and mental health conditions.

Must possess and maintain a valid Massachusetts driver's license for the duration of employment.

You must maintain a personally owned vehicle that is reliable and insured for the responsibilities of this role.

You must be able to pass a thorough background check as part of the hiring process.

You must successfully complete any required drug screening as a condition of employment.

You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship requirements.

You must meet all state and organizational compliance requirements for working with vulnerable populations.

You must demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

You must commit to ongoing professional development and adherence to agency policies and procedures.

You must reliably commute to the Malden location for scheduled work hours.

Nice to have

LICSW, LMHC preferred.

Experience working with diverse families and cultures.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Location requires a short commute to the Malden office.

This role requires a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
