You will serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor to our sales team, the customer, partners, and community within the NATO domain. You will understand and solve our customer's business issues with the Elastic Stack, taking initiative to improve both yourself and the team through continuous learning and questioning the status quo. This role operates within some of our biggest clients within the enterprise sector, requiring a high level of ownership and impact. You will play a meaningful role in the growth of our company by enabling sales and deepening relationships. What you'll do
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact within NATO, ensuring alignment between customer needs and Elastic capabilities.
- Develop a deep understanding of customers' goals and objectives, and articulate how our offerings address their specific business challenges and desired outcomes.
- Create and own value-based relationships at all levels in the organization, building trust and credibility with stakeholders.
- Actively participate in all phases of planning and execution for your territory, guiding opportunities from initial discovery through to a technical win.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Elastic products and solutions to effectively demonstrate their value in live sales meetings and at events such as meetups and conferences.
- Advise the sales team on effective positioning strategies for Elastic products, solutions, and services within complex enterprise environments.
- Onboard, educate, and enable our partners, providing them with the tools and knowledge required to support sales cycles successfully.
- Create compelling collateral and contribute to program initiatives while collaborating closely with other Elasticians to meet individual client needs.
- Be the voice of the customer and community, communicating needs, gaps, and enhancements directly to our engineering and leadership teams.

Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of success in a technical presales role, involving selling, demonstrating, and implementing technology to earn customer trust.
- Experience working within the Enterprise sector, with the understanding required to stay competitive and successfully navigate the sector's unique challenges.
- A demonstrable ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software, and technologies to executive-level audiences.
- A real passion for continuous learning and curiosity, investing in yourself as much as you invest in your professional relationships.
- A history of successful customer relations where you developed an understanding of what made a difference and designed architectures to help meet goals, solve problems, or outpace competitors.
- An ability to influence beyond your formal authority, having convinced a team you worked for of an idea, technology, or architectural pattern more than once.
- The ability to inspire groups, both large and small, through clear communication and compelling vision.
- A willingness to travel 30% within a region, as well as occasionally internationally, to support customer and partner needs.
