About the role
You will extend the CEO and leadership team's capacity by chasing down highly important, ambiguous problems and ensuring the right decisions get made at the right time. You will help investor communications and key leadership reviews while running point on high-priority, cross-functional projects from first framing through execution. You will take on marketing and GTM execution that drives growth, writing case studies for key accounts, drafting partnership announcements, pushing on pipeline tactics, and coordinating outside marketing contributors and agencies. You will build and maintain the dashboards leadership actually uses to track performance, account health, and operational KPIs. You will back up a set of Ekho's enterprise accounts at the QBR and renewal level, participating in the operating team to build creative solutions that drive performance and solve unique client challenges.

What you'll do
- Extend the CEO and leadership team's capacity by chasing down highly important, ambiguous problems and making sure the right decisions get made at the right time.
- Help investor communications and key leadership reviews.
- Run point on high-priority, cross-functional projects from first framing through execution.
- Take on marketing and GTM execution that drives growth by writing case studies for key accounts, drafting partnership announcements, pushing on pipeline tactics, and coordinating outside marketing contributors and agencies.
- Build and maintain the dashboards leadership actually uses to track performance, account health, and operational KPIs.
- Back up a set of Ekho's enterprise accounts at the QBR and renewal level and be part of the operating team building creative solutions to drive performance and solve unique client challenges.
- Turn vague priorities into plans with real owners and real timelines.
- Find the operational gaps, fix them, and leave behind a process that works without you.
- Support hiring and team-scaling as we grow.
- Redefine this role every 6 months by tackling the most important, challenging problems in the company that need extra firepower and delivering solutions.
Requirements
- 4-8 years in management consulting, investment banking, or a demanding operating role at a startup, with a track record of taking on unfamiliar problems and actually seeing them through.
- You build systems and processes, not just one-off deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator.
- Fluent with AI: you have built skills, routines, and agents, and you actually use AI and systems-thinking to cut down your own day-to-day work.
- Based in or willing to relocate to New York City.
- Experience in a regulated or operationally complex industry such as automotive, fintech, insurance, healthcare, or similar.
- Experience supporting or managing key client or partner relationships.
- Time at an early-stage or high-growth startup, or a close-up view of how one runs.
- Comfortable operating with minimal oversight in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to have
- Preference for candidates with experience in a regulated or operationally complex industry like automotive, fintech, insurance, healthcare, or similar.
- Background supporting or managing key client or partner relationships.
- Familiarity with early-stage or high-growth startup operations.
- Comfort with minimal oversight in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
Practical notes
This is a full-time position based in New York City HQ. The role reports directly to Rowan, our CEO, and requires proximity to the New York office. The position offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k), free lunch and dinners, a $700 annual work setup stipend, and an annual team offsite. Compensation ranges from $170K to $200k base plus meaningful equity. The role is designed to evolve significantly every six months, with responsibilities redefined to address the company's most critical and ambiguous challenges.
