About the role
EarnIn is seeking a Staff Analyst to collaborate closely with our Chief Marketing Officer and product leadership team to enhance user acquisition and engagement. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and executing AI-driven analytical processes that streamline decision-making. Your contributions will be vital in shaping our product and marketing strategies, ensuring that we effectively meet the needs of our users.

What you'll do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, and Product, to develop and implement strategies that drive user growth and enhance product offerings.
- Design AI-enhanced analytics agents that automate critical tasks such as anomaly detection, funnel diagnostics, and comprehensive business reporting.
- Work alongside Engineering teams to transition automated analytics frameworks into live production environments.
- Establish and oversee frameworks for product analytics, experimentation, and causal measurement that encompass the entire user journey.
- Develop and execute modeling and measurement strategies utilizing uplift modeling and causal inference techniques.
- Simplify complex data findings and AI insights into understandable narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Lead initiatives to identify growth opportunities and optimize user engagement through data-driven insights.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and product features.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies that can enhance analytical capabilities.
- Mentor junior analysts and team members, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership, influencing strategic direction based on data insights.
- Drive innovation in analytics by exploring new methodologies and tools that can improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in data science or analytics, with a strong emphasis on practical execution and results.
- Strong command of programming languages such as Python and SQL, along with expertise in statistical modeling and experimentation.
- Demonstrated experience in developing AI-driven workflows, including automation through agents or large language models (LLMs).
- In-depth knowledge of growth and product analytics, particularly in areas such as user retention, monetization strategies, activation, and overall engagement.
- Practical experience applying causal inference and uplift modeling techniques to derive actionable insights.
- Proven ability to work independently as a high-impact contributor, directly engaging with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
Nice to have
- Experience in consumer technology, fintech, or companies that are heavily data-driven in their product offerings.
- Familiarity with contemporary data stacks, including tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Looker, and Amplitude.
- Knowledge of Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and its application in optimizing marketing strategies.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis and automation
- Familiar with experimentation frameworks to test hypotheses and measure outcomes
- Expertise in causal inference methodologies to establish cause-and-effect relationships
- Experience in developing AI/LLM agents for enhanced analytics
- Skilled in statistical modeling techniques to analyze data trends and patterns
