Reviewing performance metrics and member feedback to refine coaching approaches and service standards.
Shipping consistent club experiences by coordinating schedules, coverage, and smooth handoffs between teams.
Partnering with membership sales and local allies to grow community ties and referral pathways.
Championing compliance with safety rules, certifications, and clean facility standards every day.
Guiding personal trainers through feedback cycles that sharpen skills and strengthen client trust.
Requirements
You bring two years of management background, with fitness or personal training oversight strongly preferred.
You offer three to four years of customer service excellence and comfort with frequent member interactions.
You show history of personal training sales success or a deep interest in fitness selling.
You communicate clearly in speech and writing for staff, leaders, and external contacts.
You build relationships across levels while maintaining detail focus and organized workflows.
You uphold health regulations and ensure certifications remain current across the team.
Nice to have
Experience in energetic group environments where culture, sales, and safety intersect.

CPR, First Aid, personal trainer certifications, MS Office, scheduling platforms.

Daily execution and member journey
You set the tone from the moment a member walks in the door. Friendly greetings, attentive listening, and clear guidance help members feel seen and supported. You design intake sequences that move inquiries toward trial sessions and committed training packages. Through consistent follow up and structured plans, you keep the pipeline healthy and members progressing.
Team leadership and development
You hire, train, schedule, and supervise personal trainers, assistant fitness managers, and support staff. You manage payroll for assistant managers and trainers to ensure timely and accurate payment. You communicate goals, expectations, and procedures so that every department staff member understands their role. You provide constructive feedback that highlights strengths and areas for improvement. You ensure each trainer holds current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and personal training.
Sales, compliance, and facility standards
You achieve sales targets month over month, driving membership growth and revenue generation. You collaborate with the membership sales team to support onboarding and smooth transitions into the club experience. You ensure compliance with health regulations and that certifications stay current. You maintain a clean, safe facility by supervising equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. In emergencies or disruptions, you communicate calmly and clearly to protect member safety and wellbeing.
Partnerships and community growth
You engage with members in a friendly and approachable manner, actively listening to needs and providing clear responses. You partner with membership sales and local allies to expand community ties and referral pathways. You use performance metrics and member feedback to refine coaching approaches and service standards.
