What you'll do
- Lead the planning and execution of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to define project specifications and requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage project resources, including subcontractors and suppliers, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges that may arise during project execution.
- Facilitate regular meetings with team members and stakeholders to communicate project status and address any concerns.
- Ensure that all electrical installations comply with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Prepare and submit project proposals and bids, demonstrating a clear understanding of client needs and project requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or similar applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles in a project context.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with renewable energy projects or smart grid technologies.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a project team.
