As a Technical Senior Revenue Analyst, you will ensure accurate, consistent application of ASC 606 through analysis of complex deals and contract modifications. You will complete all required month-end close activities including revenue recognition, journal entries, and management reporting. You will maintain technical accounting memoranda and revenue policies under ASC 606. You will prepare and assess technical revenue workbooks and analyze revenue fluxes. You will identify, evaluate, and implement automation improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of technical revenue assessments. You will lead audit support and SOX control documentation for revenue.

What you'll do
- Ensure accurate, consistent application of ASC 606 through analysis of complex deals and contract modifications.
- Complete all required month-end close activities including revenue recognition, journal entries, and management reporting.
- Maintain technical accounting memoranda and revenue policies under ASC 606.
- Prepare and assess technical revenue workbooks and analyze revenue fluxes.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement automation improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of technical revenue assessments.
- Lead audit support and SOX control documentation for revenue.
- Partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance stakeholders to interpret contract terms and translate them into accurate accounting treatments.
- Perform detailed transaction pricing and allocation analyses in accordance to ASC 606 guidance.
- Own end-to-end close processes and timelines to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Support process enhancements and controls implementation specific to revenue recognition activities.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate timely responses to audit inquiries and testing.
- Track and document nuanced revenue recognition scenarios to ensure policy consistency and compliance.
- Analyze trends and variances in recognized revenue to support proactive adjustments and forecasting inputs.
- Evaluate new product and pricing models for revenue recognition impact and risk assessment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that leverage data and system capabilities to strengthen revenue operations.
Requirements
- BA or BS in finance/accounting, CPA preferred.
- 3+ years of revenue accounting experience in the SaaS/Technology industry and/or public accounting firm.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to balance recurring deadlines and longer-term technical projects.
- A proactive worker with integrity and accountability, while also being a team player.
- Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace.
- NetSuite or Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Experience with automation or AI is a plus (Claude, Alteryx, Domo, Google Apps Script).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to accuracy.
- Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and practical application experience.
- Willingness to learn and apply new systems, processes, and regulatory requirements quickly.
- Strong ownership mindset and disciplined execution in a remote-first environment.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in a healthcare or life sciences environment.
- Familiarity with clinical or telehealth business models.
- Knowledge of Doximity products and the clinician workflow.
- Experience with NetSuite native revenue management modules.
- Background in audit support or SOX control ownership.
- Experience building dashboards or reporting in Domo or similar analytics platforms.
- Any additional technical or revenue accounting skills that align with the role scope.
Practical notes
- This is a full-time remote position based in the United States.
- Compensation range is $112,000-$156,000, subject to experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
- The total compensation package may include base salary, equity (where applicable), and annual bonus or incentive compensation (where applicable).
- Specific compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
