About the role
Join the ad sales team to manage advertising strategies for our largest restaurant partners. You will drive the adoption of our promotional tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape the future of our advertising ecosystem. What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end advertising sales discussions with enterprise restaurant clients to define their strategic goals.
- Increase product adoption by guiding restaurant partners through the full suite of promotional tools available on the platform.
- Influence the ads and promotions product roadmap by synthesizing direct advertiser feedback and market trends.
- Manage a sales pipeline that balances immediate revenue targets with sustainable, long-term growth initiatives.
- Create pitch materials and internal enablement processes that support scalable team operations and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and analytics to refine the user experience for advertisers.
- Analyze performance data to construct compelling narratives that highlight the value of advertising investments to clients.
- Develop strategic account plans that address the unique needs and challenges of each enterprise restaurant partner.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing client relationships to drive incremental revenue and deeper engagement.
- Partner with implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding and activation of advertising campaigns for new clients.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of competitive offerings to position DoorDash as the premier advertising platform in the restaurant sector.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to uncover client pain points and tailor solutions that meet their specific objectives.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in digital media sales, demonstrating a consistent track record of success in enterprise environments.
- A consultative selling approach that prioritizes data-driven recommendations and long-term client relationships over transactional outcomes.
- A solid understanding of digital ad measurement, including attribution models, funnel metrics, and key performance indicators.
- The ability to manage a complex sales pipeline while effectively balancing short-term quotas and mid-term strategic planning.
- Strong communication and presentation skills that enable you to interact confidently with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- The capability to translate complex product features into clear, business-oriented insights for restaurant decision-makers.
- A proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment.
- Adherence to company policies and ethical standards while maintaining a high level of professionalism in all client interactions.
Nice to have
- Prior experience working directly with restaurant advertisers or in the restaurant industry, providing context for sector-specific challenges.

Compensation includes base salary, equity grants, and sales commission.
