You will act as a strategic advisor to the business by reinforcing the global People strategy through proactive people agenda implementation. This role requires you to own the employee experience for your assigned regions, ensuring that engagement, retention, and development initiatives are aligned with company objectives. You will leverage your expertise to build strong relationships and foster a high-performance culture across your perimeter. The position demands a proactive approach to managing the full employee lifecycle with a focus on operational excellence and fairness. You will be instrumental in driving leadership effectiveness through continuous feedback and coaching conversations. This role offers the chance to significantly influence People practices in a dynamic, international environment. What you'll do
Champion the execution of the global People Strategy by translating business objectives into actionable HR initiatives for Canada, USA, and Latin America.
Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle management, ensuring a consistent and fair experience for all employees while adhering to company policies.
Analyze and implement Compensation and Benefits structures to guarantee internal equity and market competitiveness within your designated perimeter.
Drive the optimization of Performance Reviews and People Reviews, ensuring they serve as effective tools for development and talent management.
Design and manage Learning & Development plans that address current skill gaps and future leadership requirements for your teams.
Monitor and enhance employee well-being by identifying trends and implementing actions that foster a supportive and healthy work environment.
Provide expert coaching and feedback to managers, strengthening their people management capabilities and leadership effectiveness.
Foster a culture of collaboration by facilitating the sharing of best practices among the People team across different regions and global hubs.
Leverage data and business acumen to advise on Talent Management decisions, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
Take ownership of various Local and Global HR projects, demonstrating strong project and change management skills.
Act as the primary HR point of contact for your perimeter, serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on all HR matters.
Utilize Microsoft Office skills to manage HR processes, analyze people data, and prepare reports for decision-making.
Support the integration of new hires and ensure they have a positive onboarding experience that reinforces company culture.
Handle sensitive employee relations issues with discretion, promoting equity and fairness in the application of company policies.
Requirements
You possess extensive experience in HR management with a proven track record of coaching managers in complex environments.
You have a strong business interest and the ability to leverage data to develop People solutions that effectively serve business strategy.
You are fluent in both French and English, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
You have strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to develop solid working connections at all levels of the organization.
You are recognized as a trusted advisor by your stakeholders due to your reliability and expertise.
You have previous experience in company transformation, project & change management, and merger & acquisition activities.
You have excellent skills on Microsoft Office, utilizing these tools to drive efficiency and accuracy in your work.
You are truly passionate about People and eager to learn and grow together with a great team spirit.
