About the role
You will own the design and execution of our cloud infrastructure roadmap in close partnership with product and engineering leaders. You will define and enforce the standards that keep our global SaaS platform secure, reliable, and cost efficient. You will act as the technical bridge between development teams and the infrastructure platform, championing automation and observability. You will lead incident response efforts and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operational processes. You will mentor engineers on best practices for cloud-native development and infrastructure as code. You will collaborate with security and compliance to ensure all solutions meet regulatory and audit requirements. You will analyze performance metrics to drive optimization initiatives across our hybrid cloud environments. You will represent Dilitrust in the wider tech community by contributing to knowledge sharing and strategic technology decisions.
Key facts
What you'll do
Architect and maintain our global infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and scalability for 24/7 SaaS operations.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines that automate the build, test, and deployment of applications across multiple environments.
Define and enforce infrastructure policies using code to standardize deployments and reduce manual intervention.
Monitor system performance and availability, using data to drive improvements in reliability and user experience.
Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and optimize resource utilization on Kubernetes clusters.
Lead the implementation of observability solutions to gain deep insights into application and infrastructure health.
Design and execute backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies to protect critical business data.
Work with security teams to implement identity and access management controls and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Optimize cloud costs by analyzing usage patterns and recommending rightsizing and reserved instance strategies.
Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud technologies, providing guidance and training to cross-functional teams.
Partner with security and compliance to ensure that infrastructure changes meet regulatory requirements and audit objectives.
Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure incidents, documenting learnings to prevent future occurrences.
Champion the adoption of Infrastructure as Code practices to increase deployment speed and reduce operational risk.
Requirements
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
You bring a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.
You have hands-on expertise with major cloud providers such as AWS and Azure.
You are proficient in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
You have deep experience with containerization and orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes.
You are fluent in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
You have a strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security principles in cloud environments.
You are familiar with monitoring and logging platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
You have a proven track record of automating infrastructure provisioning and management at scale.
You thrive in a fast-paced, international environment with frequent collaboration across time zones.
You are comfortable working with legacy systems while driving modernization initiatives.
You have experience supporting SaaS products with high availability and strict uptime requirements.
You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You are committed to following established processes while continuously seeking improvements.
Nice to have
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and on-premises data center integration.
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to the legal industry.
Familiarity with database administration and data pipeline management in cloud environments.
Experience with service mesh technologies and advanced networking configurations.
Contributions to open source projects or active participation in technical communities.
Practical notes
This role is based in Montreal, Downtown, within an infra team distributed between France, Canada, and Spain.
The position operates within an international context involving Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
You will manage automated operations for an infrastructure consisting of more than 350 assets hosted across our cloud providers.
