Diginex is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. What you'll do

Design and implement scalable software solutions that align with Diginex's strategic goals and technical requirements.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software architecture, APIs, and user guides.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth through knowledge sharing and guidance.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our software development practices.
Implement automated testing frameworks to enhance software reliability and reduce time to market.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance system performance.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights that influence product direction.
Contribute to the overall technical strategy and vision of the engineering team at Diginex.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend technologies.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL, and experience with data modeling and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with blockchain technologies and decentralized applications is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

Nice to have

Experience in the fintech or cryptocurrency sectors, with a solid understanding of market dynamics and regulatory considerations.
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React or Angular, enabling full-stack development capabilities.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
Contributions to open-source projects or participation in developer communities.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization of large-scale applications.
