What you'll do

• Design and implement responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, ensuring a seamless experience across various devices and platforms.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design prototypes into functional front-end code, maintaining a strong focus on usability and performance.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, employing best practices in front-end development to enhance user experience.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and other services, ensuring smooth data flow between the front end and back end.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues efficiently to maintain high standards of quality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, proactively suggesting improvements and innovations to the development process.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to contribute to the overall success of the team and project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their technical skills and advance their careers.
• Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications to ensure clarity and maintainability of the codebase.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring that the final product aligns with business objectives and user needs.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the front-end system, ensuring scalability and maintainability as the product evolves.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on complex web applications.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience in modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques and best practices for building responsive applications.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A passion for technology and a desire to stay current with emerging trends in front-end development and digital finance.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with blockchain technology and its applications in financial services.
• Experience with TypeScript and state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools, such as Jest or Cypress, to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices for inclusive design.
• Previous experience working in an Agile development environment.
