About the role
You will manage the configuration, maintenance, and daily operations of our Salesforce CRM, focusing on CPQ and sales support workflows. This role requires you to act as the primary system owner for the Salesforce platform within the enterprise sales organization, ensuring that configurations align with evolving business requirements. You will collaborate closely with developers and analysts to design and build scalable, efficient solutions that enhance system performance and user adoption across global teams. In this capacity, you will report directly to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Applications and Integrations, serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The position demands a proactive approach to identifying process gaps and leveraging Salesforce features to drive operational excellence. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and reliability of the CRM ecosystem on a daily basis. Your work will directly influence the effectiveness of sales operations and the accuracy of revenue forecasting.

What you'll do
- Execute comprehensive Salesforce administration, including the management of page layouts, object structures, custom fields, validation rules, and intricate security models to ensure robust data governance.
- Design, develop, and sustain automation solutions utilizing Record-Triggered Flows, Screen Flows, and Autolaunched Flows to streamline complex business processes without relying on external tools.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of Salesforce CPQ operations, focusing on pricing logic, price rules, product rules, and approval processes to ensure accurate and efficient quote generation.
- Act as the first line of defense in resolving production incidents and support cases, applying systematic troubleshooting methods to meet established service level agreements and minimize business disruption.
- Partner directly with developers to troubleshoot intricate issues and implement minor enhancements using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and SOQL, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Manage the execution of deployments and release management activities through agile sprints, utilizing Copado to ensure smooth transitions between development, testing, and production environments.
- Maintain up-to-date platform documentation and perform regular audits to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all integrated systems and data sources.
- Provide configuration and automation support for Agentforce and AI-driven processes, ensuring these advanced capabilities are integrated seamlessly into the sales workflow.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization, enhancing the overall efficiency of sales operations within the CRM.
- Contribute to the governance of the Salesforce ecosystem by participating in architecture review sessions and best practice reviews with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Facilitate user adoption by creating and delivering training materials and working with change management teams to ensure smooth rollouts of new features.
- Coordinate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications that developers can implement effectively.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards by configuring profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules to enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Support the continuous improvement of the CRM landscape by evaluating new Salesforce features and third-party tools that could enhance current capabilities.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor degree in a technical field or possess equivalent work experience that demonstrates a strong foundation in technology and business systems.
- Bring a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce administration and support within a complex enterprise environment, managing multiple stakeholders and high-volume data.
- Show deep expertise in Sales Cloud configuration, including the design of security models, role hierarchies, and sharing rules to control data visibility.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience managing end-to-end Salesforce CPQ operations, from initial configuration through to deployment and optimization in production.
- Exhibit proficiency in agile delivery methodologies, working effectively within sprint cycles and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Possess a solid understanding of development concepts, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and SOQL, allowing for effective collaboration with engineering teams.
- Have direct experience with data migrations, retention policies, and quality management practices to ensure the accuracy and reliability of critical business data.
- Hold a Salesforce Certified Administrator certification, proving your knowledge of the platform's core capabilities and best practices.

- Hold the Platform App Builder certification, demonstrating an advanced understanding of Salesforce application architecture and user interface design.
- Possess an Agentforce certification, indicating familiarity with conversational AI and agent-centric automation features.
- Hold the Platform Developer I certification, showcasing your ability to write basic Apex classes and triggers and to debug issues effectively.
