About the role
You will own the end-to-end development and execution of LinkedIn content strategies for high-profile German and global B2B clients, translating complex business topics into clear and impactful digital narratives. This role requires you to partner directly with senior executives to extract insights and ghostwrite authentic thought-leadership articles, posts, and commentary that amplify their professional visibility. You will act as a central point of contact for communications teams at key clients such as Merck and M&M, gathering briefs, managing feedback loops, and ensuring message accuracy across channels. The role focuses on producing supporting corporate communications materials, including internal updates, press releases, and deep-dive insights that reinforce client objectives. You will monitor LinkedIn engagement metrics rigorously, using data-driven recommendations to refine writing approaches and optimize performance over time. Operating within a vibrant team of Brand Strategists, Creatives, Designers, Social Experts, and Account Managers, you will contribute to exceptional digital experiences that build lasting relationships. What you'll do
- LinkedIn Content Strategy & Creation: Own the ideation, writing, and editorial planning for corporate LinkedIn channels, ensuring strict alignment with brand guidelines and global messaging frameworks.
- Executive Ghostwriting: Partner directly with senior executives to extract insights and translate them into authentic, high-quality professional posts, thought-leadership articles, and commentary.
- B2B Editorial Writing: Produce supporting corporate communications materials as required, including brief internal updates, press releases, or deep-dive insights.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a central point of contact for communications teams at Merck and M&M to gather briefs, manage feedback loops, and ensure message accuracy.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor LinkedIn engagement metrics to evaluate content performance, providing data-driven recommendations to refine the writing approach.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Brand Strategists, Designers, and Social Experts to integrate narrative concepts into cohesive campaigns.
- Content Localization: Adapt global messaging into precise and impactful German-language narratives while maintaining tone and consistency across platforms.
- Editorial Governance: Implement and maintain editorial calendars, ensuring all content adheres to compliance standards for highly regulated industries.
- Audience Development: Identify emerging topics and trends within aviation, logistics, healthcare technology, and science to drive executive engagement.
- Quality Assurance: Review and refine all written content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client objectives before publication.
- Process Optimization: Streamline content workflows to manage multiple content calendars and deadlines simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Strategic Recommendations: Provide insights on content performance to guide future storytelling and positioning for C-suite audiences.
Requirements
- Experience: at least a couple of years of dedicated experience in corporate communications, PR, B2B journalism, or agency copywriting.
- Platform Expertise: A proven track record of writing specifically for LinkedIn, with a deep understanding of what drives executive engagement and professional visibility on the platform.
- B2B Fluency: The ability to quickly grasp and accurately write about complex, highly regulated industries (such as healthcare, life sciences, aviation, and global logistics).
- Adaptable Voice: Demonstrated ability to adapt tone, style, and perspective to match different corporate cultures and distinct executive personalities.
- Language Skills: Flawless written and spoken German (professional fluency in English is highly advantageous given the client base).
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple content calendars and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy in industry-specific terminology and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Practical notes
