About the role
You will lead and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives with a clear focus on generating new restaurant sign-ups for Deliveroo. In this role, you will ensure that every SDR delivers a positive and seamless experience for partners throughout their journey on the platform. You will use your leadership to drive the efficient execution of campaigns and protect the integrity of our sales pipeline. Your work will directly support the growth of the SMB marketplace in the region. You will also act as an inspirational role model for your team on a daily basis. This position is a critical link between the SDRs and the wider Regional Sales Teams.

What you'll do
Manage SDRs to lead quality partner acquisition, generate new sales opportunities, and ensure relevant utilisation of Salesforce to track pipeline.
Identify the development areas of SDR's, provide coaching sessions to lead efficiency and enhance the performance of the SDR team.
Work with our Regional Sales Teams to share market knowledge that enables us to work together to maximise the sales opportunities in any given area.
Execute campaigns adhering to relevant contact strategies that deliver important performance metrics, including sales outcomes, restaurant experience and qualitative results.
Produce ongoing sales reports with sound analysis into performance ensuring clear action plans are built.
Attend and contribute to weekly and stakeholders meetings to provide updates on team performance and progress.
Act an inspirational role model for peers and direct reports through consistent demonstration of Deliveroo values.
Own the end-to-end management of the SDR sales cycle from initial outreach through to conversion and onboarding readiness.
Analyse pipeline data to identify trends, blockers, and opportunities for process refinement within the SMB acquisition journey.
Champion feedback from partners and SDRs to influence product and process improvements across the customer lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth transitions for partners moving from acquisition to active operations.
Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to adjust sales playbooks and maintain competitive positioning.
Drive the implementation of best practices in contact management, ensuring data hygiene and accuracy within CRM systems.
Support the development of tools and templates that empower SDRs to perform at the highest level of effectiveness.
Requirements
This is a fast-paced role which will require you to enjoy working in a target-based environment. You will be passionate about both people leadership and delivering results, along with being able to handle objections. The required skills include: 2+ years experience in a Sales Leadership role. Clear evidence of producing results in a Contact Centre environment. Ability to guide partners through effective negotiation. The desired experiences include: Experience working with SalesForce system for customer enhancement. Experience using and maintaining High Velocity Sales. Experience in identifying process improvements in pipeline management and finding incremental improvements in a high performing team.
Practical notes
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm. This is a hybrid role, working in the Manchester office 3 days a week.
