About the role
You will own the integrity and accuracy of weekly performance reporting for the UAE marketplace. You maintain and evolve the datasets that drive critical business decisions for the leadership team. You analyze complex metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes behind variances. You translate raw data into clear, fact-based narratives that explain performance drivers. You contribute directly to the improvement of reporting processes and templates where possible. You track actual performance against targets and historical periods to highlight deviations. You summarize actionable findings for the wider Finance & Strategy and UAE Leadership team. This role shapes the future of the company by directing capital to high-impact investments and ensuring we deliver long-term value.

What you'll do
- Maintain and update performance datasets used by the team.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across reports and analyses.
- Contribute to improving reporting processes and templates where possible.
- Populate the weekly business review template with the latest performance data.
- Analyze key metrics and highlight trends or anomalies.
- Draft clear, fact-based commentary explaining performance drivers.
- Track actual performance against targets or prior periods.
- Investigate and explain key variances using data and business context.
- Summarize findings for the wider Finance & Strategy and UAE Leadership team.
- Support ad hoc analysis and data requests from stakeholders across the business.
- Validate data sources and calculations to uphold the highest standards of quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align on reporting definitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including formulas (e.g. VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF) and pivot tables.
- Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and explain variances.
- Structured, data-driven approach to problem solving.
- Clear and concise written communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a Finance & Strategy environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a proactive and professional attitude.
- Internship or academic project experience in finance, business, or data analysis (preferred).
