What you'll do

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues to enhance performance and user experience.
• Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, APIs, and technical processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies within the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into your work.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of learning within the team.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure alignment and progress.
• Assist in the deployment and monitoring of applications in production environments, ensuring reliability and scalability.

• Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks to improve software quality and reduce time to market.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on back-end technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks like Spring, Django, or Node.js.
• Experience with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and an understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, enabling full-stack development capabilities.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Previous experience in a startup environment or fast-paced tech company is a plus.
