What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions that support our applications and services.
• Collaborate with development teams to create CI/CD pipelines that streamline the software delivery process.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and configuration management tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain and improve existing cloud infrastructure, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the business.
• Implement security best practices across all stages of the development lifecycle, from coding to deployment.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize resource utilization and minimize costs.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems and respond to incidents as they arise.
• Document processes, configurations, and system architectures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on infrastructure-related projects.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members to foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a DevOps role or similar position, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications in the cloud.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, particularly Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, and a solid understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Solid scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby to automate tasks and enhance workflows.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, along with experience in managing firewalls and load balancers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the organization.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Certifications in relevant technologies or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
