What you'll do

• Design and implement high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional mobile applications that meet user needs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in mobile development.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure reliability and performance across various devices and operating systems.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development to continuously improve your skills and the team's output.
• Work closely with product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Assist in the integration of third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.
• Contribute to the development of project documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration between mobile applications and server-side components.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on either iOS or Android platforms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, or Java, with a solid understanding of mobile development frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries for mobile applications.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and experience with collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• A portfolio of mobile applications you have developed or contributed to, showcasing your skills and creativity.

Nice to have

• Experience with cross-platform development frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
• Knowledge of mobile app security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud services and mobile backend solutions, such as Firebase or AWS.
• Previous experience in an agile development environment, particularly using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Understanding of mobile app analytics and user feedback tools to drive continuous improvement.
