What you'll do
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive strategy for distribution partnerships and alternative growth channels that align with Dave's objectives.
- Cultivate and sustain a robust pipeline of potential partnership opportunities through proactive outreach and thorough market research.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of partnerships, from initial sourcing and pitching to negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing management, with a focus on deals that foster sustainable user growth.
- Lead negotiations for intricate commercial agreements, working closely with legal, compliance, finance, and marketing departments to ensure alignment and success.
- Collaborate with the Product team to investigate potential integrations, co-branded initiatives, and embedded financial services that enhance user experience.
- Initiate and scale partnerships effectively, partnering with Analytics and Marketing teams to monitor performance metrics and optimize results.
- Disseminate insights and best practices regarding partnerships throughout the organization as Dave continues to expand its product offerings.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new partnership opportunities that can drive growth.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations to ensure mutual success and alignment of goals.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on partnership performance and strategic recommendations.
- Act as a champion for partnership initiatives within the organization, advocating for resources and support as needed.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, enterprise sales, or growth partnerships, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing, negotiating, and launching impactful commercial partnerships that drive significant business outcomes.
- Experience in the fintech sector or related fields such as financial services, lending, or e-commerce, particularly in regulated industries.
- Ability to craft partnership strategies informed by data analytics, performance metrics, and overall business objectives.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of managing complex agreements involving multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences.
