About the role

You will own the end to end inspection and service cycle for all Daniels products assigned to your designated hospital or medical center within the Lansing region. This position requires you to manage inventory levels with precision while delivering the initial layer of customer service support on behalf of Daniels Health. You will collaborate on a daily basis with drivers, operations personnel, sales teams, and corporate support staff to uphold strict service level agreements at your assigned facility. By ensuring the integrity and safety of the medical device ecosystem, you play a critical role in fostering a safer healthcare environment for both patients and hospital staff. The success of this role is measured by your ability to execute organized workflows that protect the facility and the community.

What you'll do

• Execute organized intake protocols for the return of devices and the processing of complex service requests at designated hospital sites.
• Coordinate build and preparation activities with operations staff to guarantee the accurate assembly and readiness of medical equipment for clinical use.
• Conduct periodic review sessions to verify inventory accuracy and uphold first-line service quality standards at each location under your supervision.
• Ensure the punctual shipping of completed service items to critical facilities such as McLaren Flint and McLaren Lansing.
• Develop and maintain collaborative routines with sales teams and corporate support units, with a specific focus on the high-priority University of Michigan site and other assigned locations.
• Sustain consistent communication with drivers responsible for routes covering essential sites like McLaren Macomb and McLaren Port Huron.
• Perform vigilant monitoring of inventory levels at high-volume facilities such as McLaren Oakland and McLaren Petoskey throughout the entire work shift.
• Document all interactions and procedural outcomes at specialized facilities including McLaren Karmanos Cancer Institute and McLaren Bay Regional for operational clarity.
• Adhere strictly to the defined scope of the role as outlined
• Act as the primary technical resource on shift for handling Daniels Sharpsmart products and resolving any immediate customer concerns.
• Maintain a clean and efficient workspace that supports the safe handling and servicing of medical devices.
• Proactively identify potential issues in the device lifecycle and escalate them through the proper channels to prevent operational disruption.

Requirements

• Possession of three to five years of prior experience in technical or service-oriented roles that involve device management or similar responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to reliably work the 7AM to 3PM shift in Lansing, Michigan, without exception or frequent tardiness.
• Proven capability to manage inventory control tasks and deliver high-level customer service for Daniels Health products consistently.
• Must meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to lift and maneuver moderately heavy medical equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail is required to ensure that all service protocols are followed precisely and accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for interacting with internal teams and hospital staff effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining alignment with corporate standards and procedures.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for travel between service locations as needed.
• Compliance with all Daniels Health safety policies and hospital regulations is mandatory for all personnel in this role.
• Willingness to undergo any required training specific to Daniels Sharpsmart products and hospital workflows.
