The Opportunity
Product Strategy and Design are inseparable at Viction. As our Fractional Director of Product Strategy & Design, you will serve as the steward of our product vision, translating strategy into execution while ensuring every feature contributes to a cohesive, differentiated, and compelling member experience. You will work directly with our founders, advisory board, UX/UI designers, engineers, AI specialists, and domain experts to determine what we build, why we build it, and how we deliver an experience that members genuinely love.

Key Facts
What You Will Architect
You will design intake workflows that convert raw biomarker and behavior data into coherent member onboarding sequences. You will define build priorities for performance modules, balancing scientific validity with delightful interface interactions. You will guide review sessions using research findings to challenge assumptions and refine feature roadmaps. You will orchestrate ship rituals, coordinating testing, documentation, and release notes for timely launches. You will establish partner integration patterns, ensuring third party devices and services connect smoothly. You will map user journeys from first login to long term engagement, highlighting key activation moments. You will translate AI model outputs into coach like guidance that feels personal and immediately actionable. You will set quality thresholds for performance metrics, ensuring accuracy and consistency across experiences.
Requirements
You bring three to five years of experience shaping products within fast moving technology environments. You command a deep understanding of health science, translating research insights into product decisions. You communicate clearly with engineers, designers, and executives using precise language and structured reasoning. You navigate ambiguity, turning unclear problems into defined opportunities and testable hypotheses. You respect data, using analytics to validate ideas and steer product evolution over time. You practice empathy, imagining how diverse members experience complex health information daily.
Nice to Have
Experience within wearable ecosystems and biometric data streams is advantageous. Familiarity with behavioral science frameworks helps refine engagement strategies for lasting change. Comfort working alongside AI specialists prompts thoughtful questions about model output interpretation.
