What you'll do

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of tugboats to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in marine engineering, specifically with tugboats or similar vessels.
• Relevant certifications in marine engineering or a related field, such as STCW or USCG licenses.
• Strong knowledge of marine propulsion systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems in a maritime context.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the maritime industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• A commitment to safety and environmental stewardship in all engineering practices.
