About the role
The is responsible for guiding enterprise customers through their entire post-sale experience, ensuring they achieve meaningful adoption and long-term value from the platform. This role sits at the intersection of customer success, product strategy, and engineering enablement, serving as the primary point of contact for a curated portfolio of large accounts. You will work alongside Sales, Field Engineering, Product, and Support teams to shape how organizations integrate Cursor into their development workflows and evolve their use of AI in coding. By deepening product adoption and strengthening customer relationships, you directly contribute to the company's mission of automating coding for professional programmers everywhere.

What you'll do
- Own the long-term success of a portfolio of top enterprise customers, managing the full post-sale journey for each account from start to finish.
- Build relationships with CTOs, VPs, and SVPs of Engineering to demonstrate measurable value and guide AI-driven organizational change across their teams.
- Lead end-to-end enterprise rollouts that cover onboarding, internal enablement, champion identification, and scaled adoption across development teams within each customer.
- Convert high-impact use cases into durable, repeatable workflows that can be replicated across multiple teams within a single customer organization.
- Monitor account health metrics and usage data to identify renewal risks and expansion opportunities, working closely alongside account executives.
- Synthesize customer feedback from all touchpoints and represent the voice of the customer to internal product and engineering teams at Cursor.
- Influence Cursor's product roadmap priorities by surfacing recurring themes, unmet needs, and strategic requests gathered from enterprise accounts.
- Design and deliver training programs that accelerate proficiency among developers, admins, and leadership stakeholders at customer organizations.
- Partner with field engineering colleagues to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and ensure smooth deployment across enterprise environments.
- Track and report on key adoption and retention metrics, using insights to refine rollout strategies and account plans continuously.
Requirements
- Background spanning both business and technology, with demonstrated success in customer-facing roles that require cross-functional collaboration and clear communication.
- Ability to translate customer needs and business goals into clear technical plans with defined, measurable outcomes and realistic timelines.
- Solid understanding of modern engineering organizations, including the software development lifecycle, developer workflows, and tooling adoption patterns in practice.
- Comfort communicating with both hands-on developers and C-suite executives, adapting your approach and messaging to each audience effectively.
- Strong analytical and operational instincts, using data to prioritize actions and drive measurable results across a portfolio of accounts.
- Existing experience as a Cursor user or a power user of modern AI coding tools, with well-formed views on what quality looks like.
- Proven track record of managing enterprise accounts and building trusted relationships with technical stakeholders over extended periods of time.
- Self-directed operator who thrives in a flat, small-team environment and takes ownership of outcomes without needing close oversight.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in developer tooling or developer experience roles, with familiarity in how engineering teams evaluate and adopt new software products.
- Background in sales engineering or technical account management at a fast-growing software company, ideally in the AI or developer space.
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement and security review processes, including navigating compliance requirements and vendor evaluation in large organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale internal processes that improve customer onboarding speed and time-to-value for new accounts.
- Personal experience contributing to open source projects or developer communities, showing a genuine interest in the broader engineering ecosystem.

- Project management and rollout planning skills for coordinating multi-phase enterprise deployments across distributed teams and regions.
